Cell Phone Tricks...IF You Know All,Then No Body Can Trick You
HINGS YOU NEVER KNEW YOUR CELL PHONE COULD DO !!!
There are a few cell phone tricks that can be done in times of grave emergencies. Your mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for survival. Check out those tricks that you can do with it:
Trick 1-FIRST Subject: Emergency
The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile; network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. Try it out.
Trick 2-SECOND Subject: Have you locked your keys in the car?
Doesyour car have remote keyless entry? This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other "remote" for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk). Editor's Note: It works fine! We tried it out and it unlocked our car over a cell phone!"
Trick 3-THIRD Subject: Hidden Battery Power
Imagine your cell battery is very low. To activate, press the keys *3370# Your cell will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your cell next time.
Trick 4-FOURTH Subject: How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?
To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the following digits on your phone: * # 0 6 # A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. When your phone get stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless. You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.
BlackBerry troubleshooting tips & tricks
Experiencing problems with that new BlackBerry Tour? Is your tried-and-true Curve 8300 acting up on ya? Have no fear; you don't necessarily have a "lemon" on your hands|.BlackBerry devices, and smartphones in general, can be a "finicky" bunch of gadgets. But thankfully, there are some quick fixes for common problems.
However, BlackBerry-maker Research In Motion (RIM) was kind enough to post its own set of 10 BlackBerry smartphone troubleshooting tips and tricks earlier this month. While there's nothing groundbreaking--like I said, I've covered most of the material before--any and all CrackBerry addicts will benefit from a quick refresher of the basics
What follows is RIM's recent list of BlackBerry troubleshooting tips, along with comments of my own, where necessary or relevant.
1) Check Wireless Signal Strength
RIM suggested checking on your wireless signal strength if you're experiencing issues, to ensure you're in a coverage area. Obviously, if you don't see any coverage bars on your BlackBerry home screen or there's an out of service (SOS) icon, you dont have wireless coverage. And that's problem.
Another quick way to check your wireless signal strength is via a BlackBerry keyboard shortcut. Just hold down your BlackBerry's ALT key and type the letters N, M, L, L. Your home screen will then show your wireless signal strength in Dbms. If your signal strength isn't within the -40 to -100 Dbms range, you're not in an adequate wireless coverage area. (Note: This shortcut only works on BlackBerry smartphones with full QWERTY keyboards.)
2) Pull Your Battery or "Hard Reset"
RIM's second troubleshooting tip is to simply remove and replace your BlackBerry's battery. Doing so is as simple as removing the device's battery cover and popping out the power pack, with the edge of a credit card or other prying tool. This is referred to as a BlackBerry "hard reset." For more on the difference between hard and soft BlackBerry resets, read "Hard v. Soft Resets, and When to Perform Each."
3) Check Wireless Network Settings
BlackBerry users experiencing wireless coverage or data transfer issues should ensure that their network settings are correct, RIM says. To do open up the Manage Connections menu via your BlackBerry home screen. The Mobile Network option should have checked box next to it to signify connectivity.
Next, scroll down to Mobile Network Options and make sure Data Services are enabled and the Mobile Network and Network Mode are set to the appropriate carrier and network options.
4) Register Your BlackBerry the Wireless Network
RIM also suggests registering your BlackBerry with your wireless network if problems arise. Registering a BlackBerry device running RIM's handheld software v4.1 or higher is simple. Just open your BlackBerry Options menu via your home screen, click Advanced Options and then Host Routing Table. On the following screen, tap your BlackBerry Menu key and choose Register Now.
You'll then receive a network notification message to let you know your device has been registered.
5) Check your BlackBerry's Connection to a Computer
If you're having issues working with RIM's BlackBerry Desktop Manager software, you should ensure that your device connects properly to your machine, according to RIM.
To determine whether or not your device is connected to BlackBerry Desktop Manager, open up the program's Options menu and hit Connection Settings. You should see your device's unique BlackBerry PIN number in the on-screen connection field. If not, click the Detect button. If your device is successfully connected, the program will tell you your device has been located.

6) Confirm BlackBerry Can Receive E-Mail
One way to see whether or not you're experiencing BlackBerry mail delivery latency or other problems is to simply send yourself a test message from an e-mail account that's not associated with your device, RIM says. If you send the message and it appears on your BlackBerry, you can receive e-mail. If the message arrives, but it's delayed, you're very likely experiencing some sort of latency.
Solutions for e-mail reception problems vary greatly depending on a number of user-specific factors, including whether or not the BlackBerry is on corporate BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) or a consumer-oriented BlackBerry Internet Service account. If you cannot receive e-mail, try registering your handheld with the network (see step four) and resending your service books (refer to step eight.) If you're on a BES, you may have to contact your BlackBerry administrator for further assistance.
7) Confirm BlackBerry Can Send E-Mail, PIN Messages (BlackBerry Messenger)
RIM also suggests checking your outgoing mail delivery if you're having BlackBerry issues. Do so by first sending an e-mail message from your BlackBerry device to a mail account associated with your BlackBerry. (It's okay to use the same account to send and receive the message.) If you receive the message, you can send e-mail.
Secondly, you should confirm that you can send and receive BlackBerry Messenger and PIN messages. To do so, send a PIN message from your BlackBerry to yourself by opening up your Messages folder, hitting Menu and choosing Compose PIN. Type in your BlackBerry PIN and hit send. If you receive the message, you can send PIN messages.
Solutions for e-mail problems vary greatly depending on a number of user-specific factors, including whether or not the BlackBerry is on corporate BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) or a consumer-oriented BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) account. If you're on a BES, you may have to contact your BlackBerry administrator for further assistance.
8) Resend BlackBerry Service Books
If you're having mail or messaging issues, or any other BlackBerry performance problems, you should resend your device's service books, RIM says. Service books communicate with your network's BlackBerry infrastructure, specifying which services should be available and how they should function.
There are three ways to resend your BlackBerry service books: 1) You can send the service books directly from your handheld; 2) you can log into your carrier's (BIS) page and send them from there; and finally, 3) you can call on your carrier's customer service reps to do the job for you. For instructions on each option, visit RIM's website.
9) Launch the BlackBerry "Help" App
Each and every new BlackBerry ships with a "Help" application and associated home screen icon, and RIM says this is one of the quickest and easiest ways to solve basic BlackBerry issues.
To utilize the option, click the Help icon on your BlackBerry's home screen and click Troubleshooting on the following page.
You can also access the BlackBerry Help menu from within certain native BlackBerry apps, by hitting your Menu while an app's open and choosing Help.
10) Visit BlackBerry Technical Solutions Center
RIM posts bundles of information, in the form of "knowledge base" articles, to its BlackBerry Technical Solutions Center. The online destination is one of, if not the, best places on the Web to find solutions to advanced BlackBerry problems. It's also a great resource for learning more about your handheld.
RIM suggests visiting the BlackBerry Technical Solutions Center whenever you encounter a BlackBerry-related issue you can't easily solve--and I do, too.
Tips
Tip: Triple attack
If an enemy is standing next to a BFGP or Grenade, you can attack AND pick up the item. If you are Plumber and have your power full, you can use Ladies Man to get another Grenade or BFGP and whoop some azz for a 3rd time!
Trick: Harakiri win
If both you and your opponent are on low HP, you can try to get a grenade or BFGP to kill you both. You both will respawn at your own castles, BUT the enemy Princess will jump straight in your arms, scoring a Rescue! This also works if you kill just yourself off and your Wolf or Boss Monster goes kill the other player.
Bad idea: Ninja FROG???
There is a chance that the Ninja will turn into a frog wjhen using Ninja Vanish. I have witnessed this a few times. The way to get around this is using Ninja Vanish while carrying a Princess, returning you to normal instantly.
Trick: Tube KO
You can KO other players inside tubes. They will go inside a pop out the other end of it. This is a effective way of stranding enemies into "no mans land" or YOUR Combos! You can also KO other players standin next to tubes by attacking through the tube!
Trick: 6-bit weapon
The Agressors 4-bit weapon power can be shot through tubes, resulting in up to 6 laser going around the field. Can be deadly and always looks cool!
Tip: Combo Farming +1
The Level 50 Elf's power can be incredibly effective when used in with lots of Paint Brushes and batteries. Usually, other players will try to hog up all the Paint Brushes, but you can aim for the Batteries! Using Combo Stick +1 can aslo be a good escape plan from an enemy castle.
Tip: Full Heal
When you score a rescue, you get a full heal. Respawning only restores 50%!
Tip: Kill Steal!
Although it might seem a good thing that an enemy steals another enemy Princess, it's not. They will just get a power up and whoop you next! So if an enemy steals another ones Princess, cut of hes escape and trick them to fight each other. When you get the chance, swoosh in and steal the wandering princess and retreat to your own castle, or atleast out of enemy reach. You can also grab enemy Princesses by attacking an enemy thats carrying one.
Bad idea: Let the chickens live
If you don't exterminate the chickens when you have the chance, they will just get in your way, blocking paths. They alsi lay Eggs, which enemies can use to hurt you, and vice versa. When they get too many, something dreadful that could cost you a victory will happen...

I'll show you how to get the best from all of them.
Of course, I still flirt with other browsers. Hey, who doesn't? I've also put together tips for running Communicator and Microsoft's Internet Explorer on the same system. They'll help you keep peace on the desktop.

N70 Tips and Tricks Guide Revealed!
This was in no means compiled by me, but yet I have to say that it is the most impressive NSeries device Hacks guide that I've come across!!
Abdul Mueid of CrazyLittleWorld.com has compiled not only a review, but a resourceful 3 part guide for all N70 users.
Part 1 talks about the basics of setting up the phone, checking out the multimedia formats and file management.
Part II talks about internet related features of the N70 such as configuring web browsing, email and instant messaging.
Part III is an explosion of tips and tricks!!! More than what I had imagined after blogging about my s60 contribution but as predicted I'm glad to see that someone took a shot at trying and applying some of the techniques such as changing the screensaver and the fonts!
I applaud Abdul in his creative effort of putting this guide together and I encourage all of those N70 new and contemplating users to definitely check his site out.
Sony Ericsson T303 Black And Silver For Your Listening Pleasure
The Sony Ericsson T303i is a slide opening phone that comes with easy to use features. The Sony Ericsson T303i comes in silver coloured casing & a distinctive shadow black coloured casing. A fitted rechargeable battery when fully charged can provide the user up to 9 hours of talk time or up to 400 hours of standby battery time. This quad band network mobile phone covers four GSM networks for worldwide roaming. The phone comes with built in WAP Internet browser that allows the user to access the Internet. The user can stay in contact by sharing a text message or multimedia messages. A multimedia message can contain also contain picture with text & sound. Mobile phone
A mobile phone or mobile (also called cellphone and handphone,as well as cell phone, wireless phone, cellular phone, cell, cellular telephone, mobile telephone or cell telephone) is a long-range, electronic device used for mobile voice or data communication over a network of specialized base stations known as cell sites. In addition to the standard voice function of a mobile phone, telephone, current mobile phones may support many additional services, and accessories, such as SMS for text messaging, email, packet switching for access to the Internet, gaming, Bluetooth, infrared, camera with video recorder and MMS for sending and receiving photos and video, MP3 player, radio and GPS. Most current mobile phones connect to a cellular network consisting of switching points and base stations (cell sites) owned by a mobile network operator (the exception is satellite phones, which are mobile but not cellular).
A mobile phone, as opposed to a radio telephone, offers full duplex-communication, automatised calling to and paging from a public switched telephone network (PSTN), handoff (am. English) or handover (European term) during a phone call when the user moves from one cell (base station coverage area) to another. A mobile phone offers wide area service, and should not be confused with a cordless telephone, which also is a wireless phone, but only offer telephony service within a limited range, e.g. within a home or an office, through a fixed line and a base station owned by the subscriber.
The International Telecommunication Union estimated that mobile cellular subscriptions worldwide would reach approximately 4.1 billion by the end of 2008. Mobile phones have gained increased importance in the sector of Information and communication technologies for development in the 2000s and have effectively started to reach the bottom of the economic pyramid.
