Ah, Communicator, how our relationship has blossomed. We were right together from the start. Always rebellious, you were sometimes rash and perhaps unreliable at times. But your impetuous nature drew us closer still. Damn the rules, you seemed to say. And now you're free. Still, we long to learn more about your mysterious ways.
To get to know Netscape Communicator better, I've collected tips from each of its tools: Navigator, the browser; Conference, the real-time meeting and whiteboarding tool; Collabra, the newsreader; Composer, the Web authoring and e-mail composing tool; Messenger, the e-mail client; and Netcaster, the push component. I'll show you how to get the best from all of them.
Of course, I still flirt with other browsers. Hey, who doesn't? I've also put together tips for running Communicator and Microsoft's Internet Explorer on the same system. They'll help you keep peace on the desktop.
So fire up your browser, slip into something more comfortable, and let's serve up the tips!
Navigator
The heart and soul of Communicator, Navigator uploads, downloads, you name it. Yet some of its better features aren't included in that unwieldy HTML help file. As you might have guessed, I have some suggestions for better surfing.
