Nokia made a pre-launch version of Nokia Maps available recently at http://mobilesearch.nokia.com/
They don’t mention the N95 as supported but there are some instructions for installing it that I found today on the 3g.co.uk forum http://www.3g.co.uk/3GForum/showthread.php?t=62157&highlight=nokia+maps
I followed the instructions and have the new mapping version running on my v12 firmware N95
